My partner recently was diagnosed with cancer and I am concerned because we have not used any protection for many years. Under normal circumstances I do not believe it is possible to get cancer from someone else, but I heard that there is risk if you are related. My partner and I are fraternal twins so I don't know if our chances are increased or not.
Can I get infected by being intimate with with someone with cancer?
