Can i get in trouble for car sex?

Im wondering if i can have sex in a car in an area out of public view, for example in the desert behind a bush away from houses, and with blankets over the window. No one can see what im doing, so i dont think its illegal. But what happens if a police man somewhere shows up? im sure he can not knock on my window, but if he decides to investigate i wouldnt get in trouble right?
