can i get Highdef from HD ready TV using PS3?

no it doesn't. But if you have a HD ready tv, that means you have basically a PC Monitor.

You need some other system (a tuner) to send you HD content.

HD TV's have this built in.

Oh you're talking about the back of your TV? If it dosen't support HDMI you can use component cables

Component cables will give you high def, I don't think its suports 1080p though.

They can do 1080p if your TV can accept a 1080p signal via component.

Component is capable of 1080p output. Theres no reason the PS3 wont allow it.

HDMI is obviously better but the difference is minor.

And im not 100% sure but...isnt there only 1 game out that supports 1080p? I heard of the maximum resolution Resistance supports is 720p.

Are you sure about that? My x360 is sending a 1080i signal to my toshiba hdtv monitor (no tuner).
