Can I get help with XAMPP - installing a software package called "PHP-MySQL" ?

I am using XAMPP and when I go to http://localhost/phpmyadmin it says "Cannot load mysql extension. Please check your PHP configuration. - Documentation"

I then click on the Documentation link and it says I should install a software package called php-mysql.

I have looked it up online and I just cant figure it out. Can someone help me please?
