I posted an ad on Craigslist to find an adult woman to pose nude for figure drawing for $50.00 per hour. I was contacted by a woman who claims to be 18 years old and we are supposed to meet tonight at a local hotel for a private session for art purposes only. There will be no sex. We are just meeting so that I can draw her and she can pose and that is it.
Am I breaking the law in any way? I'm worried that I may be breaking some sort of ordinance or that I may be required to obtain a permit. I know that figure modeling goes on at colleges all the time, but I also know that police use Craigslist to bust prostitutes and johns. That is not what I am doing but I am worried that I may get in trouble. If anyone knows more specifics about the law or has any advice please answer. Thanks.
