The last time I did an actual sprinting race was in 7th grade. 8th grade i started doing miles with no legit practice. In the summer before freshman year I ran like crazy, went to an xc camp; and then did cross country, winter track as distance, and most of spring track as distance. In high school I am getting legit training. I am starting to hate distance though, so i'm going back to sprinting. I don't know if i lost any of my speed but im just wondering if i did is it possible to get back? I basically wasted a year of my life doing distance ...smh
