Can i get a refund for this camp that i missed?

I was planning to go to this 2 day camp, but i got sick. So i didn't go. the teacher was kind of mad that i couldn't go, but i'm sick. he said he MIGHT be able to refund it and since there is a ferry i understand some money has to be taken off of the $170 total, but do you think there is any chance of getting most of the money back? (Ferry only costs about 7 bucks)
