can i get a pre-paid telstra iphone?

You will have to purchase the phone from ebay or another 3rd party because apple DOES NOT allow purchase of the iphone with out an at&t contract/plan. I would compare sim cared in person at the apple store but you run a very high risk or breaking the phone or the telstra sim card not working 99% you will have to buy an at&t plan or figure out how to hack for more info call 1-800-my-apple

i already have a deal with telstra that is a prepaid and i want to know if i can get an iphone 3gs that i can just slip my sim card into and use that...?
please help.
