yes, you can even keep your old phone number! When i got mine i had to replace a water damaged phone through asurion and they sent me a new one and i had to call and activate it. If you call the customer care number or go online and ask a question about it t-mobile will tell you how to get a new one, i believe you might be able to go into the store and get a new one
