Can I get a cellphone with out texting or any other features?

I would like a phone and only a phone. One that I may change the ring tone, but that's about it. I would still like a low long distance rate and one with out all the texting and stuff like that. A friend says no. But there has to be one right.
 
Any phone can be used just as a cell phone, without all the extras like texting, email, and internet. Almost all cell phone service providers have basic phones. You can go in and just ask for a basic cell phone, and with a contract, it will most likely be free. If you don't want texting, you dont have to text. That is your choice.
 
You can do that with just about every phone service, messaging and other stuff like that are called features, which is something that you can choose to have or not to have so just about every service has that choice, like verizon, sprint, t-mobile ,at&t just about all of them
