Can I get a Blackberry 8330 and still activate it with boost mobile?

I am thinking about getting a Blackberry with Boost mobile...I don't want to pay the $250.00+ for the curve 8530 but I still want a Blackberry...

Will I be able to get a Blackberry 8330 on Ebay or at a boost mobile location and be able to use it with the service? Do used phones work for boost mobile?
