...is past due? I lost my job and couldn't make my phone payment for the past four months. Sprint cut my phone off a few months ago and I owe them over $300 that I won't be able to repay until I am working again.
I have a Samsung Instinct that is compatible with the MetroPCS network, and I want to take the Instinct to a MetroPCS store and have them activate it with a basic account so that I have a phone while I am getting back on my feet. I was told by someone that the ESN would be locked and Sprint won't unlock my phone until the account is paid current. Is this true?
Will I be able to transfer my phone to another service, or is it worthless until Sprint unlocks the ESN?
