You can make it fun for yourself and find an rpg game, and find someone to chat with on there. An rpg game is a role playing game, where it's basically like instant messenger but with an actual character. Most should be free but a good one is Puzzle Pirates. You can also try IMVU (this is more like aim and is easy to use).
