During my divorce, my ex husband was granted our property. The divorce decree says he owes me $15,000 when the property sells or when he refinances..but it doesn't have a time limit. I believe I need to file a lien in case he sells the property and doesn't pay me off. The divorce decree is already attached to the property deed at the recorders office but I don't believe that qualifies as a lien.
Can I file a Lien on property in accordance with my divorce decree in AZ?
