diet heavy on produce? When I was struggling i only had convenience type food, because thats what is cheap and is given at the pantry... you know Ramen, rice, banannas, McDonalds dollar menu, russet potatoes, mac n' cheese, store brand white bread, day old pastries donated by the starbucks... lots of carbs... carbs carbs carbs, fat, carbs, sugar. Now my diet is lean meats for dinner every night and most of my plate is steamed vegetables... and i snack on all kinds of fruits (yay for shopping at farmer's market!). I think the only carbs i am getting are coming from oats, whole grains and sweet potatoes. I don't eat sweets or candies... and i don't even want to.
So if my diet was that bad and now it is really good... Will I drop some pounds if I am 20lbs overweight? And would it happen fast or gradually without exercise? ... I also drink a whole pitcher of strong green tea w/ no sweetener every day. Is it true it raises metabolism?
