Can I eat fruit pulp from my juicer?

So I used my Jack Lalanne juicer today and remembered why I hadn't used it in a while--all the wasted pulp! So I stared at the pulp waste and put it in a bowl and started sampling. I sprinkled some chocolate protein powder and tried eating a few spoonfuls, stopped and thought I would ask Yahoo. What's the worst the could happen? The fiber clogs me for the day?
The taste? Well, I once put canned tuna in a blender with tropical fruit punch whey isolate and drank two bottles full of that stuff, but never wanted to again. So, I can handle taste. Hey, can't waste food.
I just want to make sure my stomach doesn't start giving me punches tonight. If it doesn't, I'm good to finish the chocolate protein pulp bowl tonight or in the morning. Hey, we can't waste food now...
Hey, why don't I just put that pulp back in the bottles of juice I made...

Normally I actually eat the fruit and vegetables. I just had this machine bought me as a gift. Technology, what good are you?!
