then dye it darkest brown? i used to have golden hair dye,now i'm trying to dye it darkest brown #2 but for some reason-as i wash my hair regularly-the dye keeps getting lighter revealing the underneath light dye..i have natural black hair which grew from the roots so now i have 2 colors:the darkest brown i want in the roots and a lighter tone i don't want on the rest of the hair..i already dyed my hair twice..every time same result,so,where is the problem?are the 2 salons i went to not professional enough or do i have to dye my hair black first(my natural color)then dye darkes brown over it to achieve the look..ALL HAIR EXPERTS OUT THERE..plz help.
