i am planning to work in another state and my father wants to lend me a car that he is financing because my car is old and not in good condition to travel across the state. he still has a year or two to pay off the car and plans to give it to me once it is paid off. i am insured on my father's vehicle. the question is once i move for work and change my driver's license, is it legal for me to drive my father's car with an out-of-state license tag and still in his name? is all i need is proof of registration for the vehicle?
