Can I dispose of my One Foot In The Grave tapes?

I have all the OFITG tapes which I purchaced new in 1998-2002. I have the specials, last series box set (with hour long making of featurette) and also the earlier series or course.

Now, due to having a de-clutter I would like to give the whole lot away and get them on DVD, but looking on Amazon, there was a comment or two about removal of incidental music and small changes to what was on the original VHS release.

If it is changed I will stick with the tapes.

Can anyone confirm, is there a difference?

I got a One Foot in the Grave complete DVD boxset and I can't say I noticed anything cut out from them.

It's probably the same issue that affected the Quantum Leap DVD release. Copyright issues regarding incidental music used on the show.

I've got the DVD boxset there is something on there that says some music has been editied etc but nothing that I have noticed tbh. The boxset is good value I paid
