I don't view Youtube. I just want to use standard browsing. My inbox is jammed full of adverts from Yield-Manager and I'm sure the flash player is chewing up all my credit. I'm spending nearly $100 (Australian) a month. My nephew downloads movies and music, I don't, and he only pays about $80 a month.
Aaron- I need Shockwave to use Instant Messenger. I tried disabling it but IM disappeared.
Every page you view is part of your download data. Every time Yield -Manager loads an advert, this too is part of your download data. I use my inbox quite a bit and everytime I click something like a new message or a folder of kept messages, in comes 4 adverts adding to my download data. It costs me $30 per 1gb for precharge USB Internet.

Adobe flash player does not cost any money to use.

Intructions on how to disable Adobe flash player on IE 7 and IE 8:

go to Tools >>> Internet Options >>> Program Tab >>> Manage add-on options button >>> Filters >>> Add-ons that run without requiring permission >>> Select Shockwave Object >>> Click Disable button at bottom

for firefox:

go to tools >>> add-ons > Plug-ins > Shockwave Flash > press disable.

Please be aware you will not be able to use any website that need flash.
