Can I counter sue someone who is obviously abusing the law by suing me and other

businesses? This person has been on the news and well known, earning about 300,000 dollars in 2008 alone for all the lawsuits he's been filing against small business. He's been filing lawsuits left and right all over California on the basis of ADA codes...one about 1/2" counter top and mirrors in restrooms. There ought to be a law to protect the victims of law abuse or to give the business a few days notice before the plaintiff can sue to fix the problem. Is there anyway we can counter sue or prevent this from happening to other small businesses?
