can I contact the judge directly regarding child custody case?

No, that's forbidden. Anything you have to say MUST be said with the other party present or at least notified. The judge will not talk to you outside the presence of your ex and/or his attorney.

No not directly.... It sounds like an expate Order was issued?? do to the allegations that he made against you. What i would do is call the Court to see what you need to do. Let them know of your situation and what had happened and maybe they will set a sooner court date for you. You might even want to write a letter to the Judge letting him know the same.. sine he has not made a dicision yet it would be helpful if he heard your side of the story.

A private communication between you and the judge would be an 'ex parte communication', which he is required by law to ignore.
If your ex has legal custody then he has the right to decide where he wants her to live. If that is with you... great.
If he sends her home, have him write a letter saying that he wants her to live with you, and sign it. Then you can file a motion with the court asking them to make that official.

1. If you have no lawyer you should definitely have been in court...some one needs to appear on your behalf.
2. In cases like these you should have a lawyer. If you have no money you can get a legal aid lawyer.
3. A Judge will not normally hear from you except in a court proceeding. Speaking to him can actually harm you as any decision in your favour could later be appealed.

Why didn't you go to court? You should have been served with paperwork. If not, you should file something saying you were not properly served. Just because you don't have a lawyer doesn't mean you shouldn't show up for court dates. Your ex wins by default if you don't show up. I think your ex screwed himself though. Good luck!
