So I recently bought a laptop from a friend. It's several (probably like 5+) years old. I have wireless internet in my house, but I don't know how to connect the laptop to the wireless.
I know how to connect ordinary computers to wireless, but when I try to make a new connection, there's no option to input the wireless network ID and password, the only option is Dial Up.
I have a dial up cord, but my house only has one outlet with the dial up connection, and it is currently in use by my landline phone and I don't want to unplug the phone every time I want to use the internet.
I also have an ethernet router if that helps.
How can I do this?
