Can I connect my phone to my computer via Bluetooth?

I have an LG EnV2 which supports bluetooth and an Acer Aspire 9410 laptop. My laptop has a button next to the keyboard with the bluetooth insignia on it. When I push it, the computer screen just says "no device." I put my phone in discoverable mode and then pushed the button and it did the same thing. How can I get these things to connect?
 
i have a little thing you plug into the usb place on a computer. maybe you have to have one of those. mine works really good. i can bluetooth to my computer from my phone and from my phone to my computer. it is really cool.
