I am wondering if I can connect my iPhone 3G with OS 4.0.2 my cell which is with Sprint. I am no longer with AT&T (I am FULLY aware of the downgrade in service), and would like to use my iPhone.
I understand that my phone would have to be jailbroken to use it with any other service provider, as well as the technologies these companies use being different.
Also, some pointers on jailbreaking from home- or if that's a good idea... My warranty is expired regardless, but I don't want to damage my device, which is in perfect shape (aside from the speed due to poor OS update.)
