I am making shredded pork tacos and I was supposed to get up at 3 to put them in my slow cooker so they would be ready around noon...I overslept and am 2 hours behind schedule...Can I cook it on high for 1 and 1/2 hours and reduce to low for 5? Or will this mess up the entire dish...I need it ready for 12:30 and put the roast in at 5:30....
