Can I charge my camera with a USB charger that is plugged into the power inverter...

...I bought for my car? I have just purchased a Power Inverter (XPower Micro Inverter 175) to let me get AC power in my car. Found out it has no USB port. To charge a USB charged device (my digital camera) can I just plug a AC to USB charger into the AC plug on the power converter?
