Can i change the contacts from my AT&T cell phone to Verizon Wireless without

having to retype them all in? Right now i have a blackberry on at&t which i love but im changing and i really dont want to switch out all my contacts to the other phone by typing them all in or texting everybody to ask them to text me again. Anyway that verizon can do this or do i have to write them down and do it manually? (guessing sim cards dont transfer)
