Can I Change My Handset During My Contract?

i am with the network Orange and the phone i have (LG GW520) has broken several times and was deemed unrepairable orange and they then sent me a brand new version of the handset and now 3 weeks later the same fault has occurred but with a brand new handset so ive come to the point where its been 2 months into my 18 month contract and i want to change the handset, can it be done?
