I filed for divorce about a month ago and served my wife the papers.She gave me a response agreeing but we recently talked about it and decided a legal separation is best for our family right now.If we have court on the 29 of this month and tomorrow is the 28, is it too late to change it to a separation instead of a divorce?And if it's not do we both have to file or only me because I was the one that originally filed for the divorce.By the way we live in California.
