can i cancel an order from verizon?

i just ordered a phone, and a plan. but it said it was doing a credit check. and i know that it isnt going to come through because i have no credit anyways. i am only 18 years old. I know i have to pay like 400 dollars for it. but i just want to cancel the whole order. is this possible??
