can i call police about an old Stolen bike?

My brother's bike was stolen last summer while we were on vacation but we never called the police. A couple weeks ago one of his friends told him who stole it. Is there anything we can do about it now that we know who did it or is it too late?

yeah you could call, not sure what the statue of limitations is on stealing a bike. but if its not that important dont even bother
