So here's the problem. I recently extended my 2 year Verizon contract for another two years, and received the LG enV3 for $20. It's been a few months, and I'm looking to upgrade to a smartphone, most likely the Motorola Droid. The problem is, since it hasn't been two years, Verizon won't give me a phone for the discounted price and I don't feel like paying $550 for a new phone.
My question is: Can I buy the Motorola Droid elsewhere (eBay, etc.) and then activate it on my Verizon plan. We've switched phones before by entering a code into the online site, I'm just not sure if the Droid has this. Thanks!
