Can I buy a boost mobile phone and have it work on sprint?

All the boost mobile phones that are identical to those of sprints are a lot cheaper. If I buy a phone from boost mobile, i.e. the samsung seek, can I have it activated on my sprint plan??
My plan still has a year and my other phone has broken so I need to buy it as cheap as possible
