locksmith cut and program it? The rates are all about the same - between 170 and 200 dollars - to have a transponder key replaced. I am desperately looking for cheaper alternatives for this procedure and thought that buying a blank key off eBay may be able to be cut and programmed from the locksmith location. Every locksmith I've called in the area said they can do the programming, so I don't understand the discrepancy in answers here. The Toyo tech says only a dealer can do it?
