Can I break my Verizon wireless plan?

I Had recently got the Droid 2 on a 2 year contract. Now that the Iphone has came to Verizon I am willing to pay full retail price for the iphone.
Am I allowed to break my droid contract and if so how much money does it cost me?
Thanks guys
Do they charge you for canceling a two year contract?
