Can I bid on eBay without using Paypal balance?

If I want to bid on something on eBay that ends in 5 hours but I don't have enough money in my paypal account balance, can I pay directly with my credit card without having to wait 4-5 business days for the money to transfer from my bank account?
 
Unless the seller accepts credit cards, you must use your Paypal. But Paypal will take enough money from your funding source to cover the purchase. It is never necessary to transfer money into Paypal to buy something as long as your Paypal is linked to a credit card or a bank account.
 
it should automatically pull money out of your bank acct if you are spending more than is in your Paypal acct - there is no 4-5 day wait for that - I've paid many times where I didn't have enough in my Pyapal acct - it just deducted it from my chkg acct right away
