I live in a house that was my fathers it was taken from him for failure to pay taxes the nieghbors say the police was in my driveway the other day and said they were there to throw me out Ive never gotten a eviction notice although I been waiting on it and Im in process of trying to find a place and move before they get back in fear that I'll be thrown out and not get to keep my stuff. What if anything could I do to save my furniture ect if they come tomorrow or the next day and toss me out without me getting to keep my stuff everyone tells me I have to get a eviction notice first. How do I get them to give me notice and a week or so to move?
can I be thrown out of my home with no eviction notice?
