Can I be court ordered to pay for my daughter's school sport?

I have two children with my ex. I am now remarried and have another child plus two step-children. I take care of my kids on my time and do my best to give them what they need. My wife was recently laid off and I am paying all of our household needs on only my income. We had to cut back on a few expenses and are just covering basics (Groceries, rent, utilities, car payment, insurance and phone)

My ex recently approached me with a form for my daughter to play basketball. I looked over the form and realized that the cost are just unfortunately too expensive for me to pay, even half, at this time. I explained to her as much as would like to, I just can not afford this extra expense at this time. She just got pissed off and threatened that she will be taking me to court and have the judge order me to pay for it.

Will she be able to do this? I really would love for my daughter to play sports, but am struggling at this time to be able to pay for any extracurricular activities.
