Can I be accused as a sex offender or be filed a case by the authorities?

Me and my girfriend have been together for a year and 8 months. About 1 year and 3 months or long distance relationship, her mother invited me to her house for one week in the beginning summer. She treated me very nicely and was a great person to me. I was 18 at the time and my girlfriend was 15 and she knew about this. Now, about a month ago, her mom decided to suddenly call off the relationship for no reason whatsoever. She called my parents telling them that if she caught me talking to her, or her taking to me, that she was going to seek legal authorities and try to get me to back off the hard way. Here's the thing, I did nothing to threaten her daughter, and I did nothing to upset the mother, or any of her family members. I want to know as much info as I can.

I read laws about age of consent, punishments for it, and so on. But it's unclear to me whether I am at dire risk of being registered as a sex offender or not. We're both virgins, if that helps. I live in Florida and she lives in Arizona. She threatened me because she heard a "staggered breathing". Thus, making her think I was masterbating. I don't know where the breathing came from, but it made her take this ridiculous action.

So I wanted to know if I can still get filed a case EVEN if my girlfriend's mom decides to pull the authorities on me when I have not threatened her daughter's safety, or have had sex with her.

Again, I'm 18 and she turned 16 a month ago. Her mom invited me into her house KNOWING I was 18 and let me stay at her house for a week.

This has been bothering me for a while and I'm starting to get worried about my safety and my life. I really do want to fight for her, but I must know the risks I'll be taking in doing so.
