can i be able to use some drift wood or twigs in the woods as an ornament?

Hello, thats a good question but NO.They will eventually rot and damage your tank. Plus even if you wash it well they will still have bad things on them. Who knows how many animals pped on them LOL
 
You can try it once you sterilize the wood. Bake it in the oven for 200 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. You'll still have to watch for signs of rot, which will make your water dirty, but that should kill all the bacteria and parasites. Some drift wood rots and some doesn't... its hard to predict. Just keep an eye on it and you'll probably be fine.
