i am 17 now, and have used weed, ecstasy, lsd, shrooms, alcohol, and xanax from ages 15 to 16. however, i quit all drugs (except cigarettes) because i realize that it ruins peoples lives and i want to be a cop so i can prevent things like that from happening to others and bust dealers. if i explain my story to the department i apply for and offer to do volunteer work (such as being a undercover narc for them for free) and get a degree in criminal justice, will i be accepted?
can i be a police officer if i used drugs in the past? (please read)?
