Can I activate an old mobile phone with Sprint without starting a new

contract or using my upgrade eligibility? I recently cracked the screen on my current phone rendering it mostly unusable. I do have an older phone that I would like to activate and use in its place.

My two-year contract has been fulfilled and I also have upgrade eligibility. I don't want to start a new two-year contract as I may be relocated overseas for work. I also don't want to lose upgrade eligibility if I do end up staying at my current location in the United States.

If I go on the Sprint website and activate my old phone, will it cause me to start a new two-year contract or use up my upgrade eligibility?

Yes, you can also buy the same phone for the full price EX: $799 and then it will also still keep your uprade eligibility. but yes you will be fine doing that.
