can I activate an AT&T blackberry for sprint?

My grandma has AT&T and just bought an Iphone, so she gave me her blackberry curve. I have sprint, and I wanna know if they can activate it if they also carry the blackberry curve? do I buy a sim card and everything? pleaseee say this is possible bc I really like the blackberry:D
