can generic bluetooth connect to laptop? and How?

I dont think this model comes with a built-in bluetooth receiver. You'd need to buy a bluetooth dongle. They're pretty cheap. Just plug it into a USB port and connect your bluetooth headset.
 
I have a HP G61-320us laptop and a 4pr909 bluetooth head set can i connect my bluetooth to my laptop and if so how do you do it?
I don't know how to tell if my laptop is bluetooth enabled but I have not put an adapter on it. How could I tell if it is enabled and do i need to download a driver for it to work?
