my dad bought two new fishes today, and so he add them with the other fishes in the tank. and after a few minutes, one of the old fish in the tank starts to follow one of the new fish, when the new one stop, the old one stop and so on and so forth, and i'm just a little curious, so do they talk?

i know it sound silly but....... just answer please

No unfortunatly they do comunicate though. They twirl and chase each other a bit similar to sign language and that but they don't talk ='[[

It's more body language. They also have a natural instinct to stay in a group and follow each other.

Fish can't talk in what we define as talk, but they can communicate with body language etc. For example Cory Cat's rub their whiskers against each other to communicate, and many species of fish rub against each other to signal that they want to mate.
