Can fish affect pregnancy tests?

My boyfriends ex girlfriend might be pregnant, and we are really worried. Now, last night, around 7 pm, she took a pregnancy test that read positive. But then the next morning, at 7 am, she took another test that read negative.
My boyfriend said she had eaten fish the night before, and hadn't eaten fish in a very long time. So we are wondering if maybe it affected the first test, and are wondering if there were chemicals that could have affected it.
We are really hoping the first test was wrong, and that the one she takes tomorrow reads negative.
So any input would gladly be appreciated.
Heeeey, thanks for the input. We actually think she might have sharpied the first one.
