I bought a new bag of dogfood last week and left it in the car for a few days before bringing it inside. It was in the 90's each day so of course the inside of the car has gotten really hot. I started feeding my dog that food a couple of days ago, and yesterday she got diarrhea and has had it ever since. Could it have something to do with that food? Can the heat make it bad? Also, I usually feed her inside, but started feeding her outside. Do the bowls need to be cleaned daily? I'm trying to figure out what might be making her sick. She acts fine, so I think it's solely a digestive issue...not something crazy.
Can dry dogfood left in the car during hot temps be fed to my dog?
