Can dogs hit their 'funny bone' in their back legs?

My parents dog got overly excited, and hit the door when she rain into the other room to get my husband. Then her left back leg had a limp. My dad rubbed it and she was fine. But the limp was so awful for almost a full minute that it I thought she dislocated her hip as she is a lab, and it could be hip dysplacia (sp?). So can dogs hit their 'funny bone' like humans??
