My cousin is raised in US. We have the same nationality but they need to be there in USA because her parents have to work there. We are on the same age. Her parents divorced for less than a decade already. The last time I saw her was i think last 2005? She's still okay that time. I mean, there's nothing wrong with her she's still okay up to this time.. but I think there are really some changes with her personality.
I can only see her in different social networking sites. We rarely chat. She's with her mom and she just spend a little time with her dad this time. Btw, her dad is my uncle.
She's not visiting us here whenever her dad is given a chance to go back here in our country because she's always with her mom that's why the last time we saw her was long time agooo.
My other cousin & I try to chat her but it seems that we are not on the same "level". What I mean is, she's not anymore 'her'. Her personality is very different today. As what I can see in her videos (and photos), she act like a big girl from NY. The way she dress. The way she talk. Some of her pictures, she shows her mid-finger. She had I think boyfriends before. But she still got A+ in school.
We are still in high-school but she acts like that. I'm worried. I mean, is that normal? Can culture really affect a person's personality?
I really-really-really wanted to see her as soon as possible because maybe those videos/pictures are just because of her stupidity with her friends. I want to see her again so that i can see her real attitude & personality this time. I want to advice her to study here. I understand, I'm living in the east and she's in the west. We grow on different country with different culture but my other cousins & I are worried. What if she'll engage PMS? Because most of the people there are doing like that. I'm afraid. I know I am thinking too much.
How can I help her? How to avoid myself from thinking that way.
